Solera

A musical event celebrating the Acute Rehabilitation Center

Held on March 5, 2017 at the Clark Center in Arroyo Grande, the Solera concert also served as a reunion for Acute Rehabilitation patients and their caregivers. It was a beautiful event, with an equally beautiful cause behind it.

The Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Acute Rehabilitation Center is the only hospital-based, comprehensive physical and cognitive rehabilitation program within a 100-mile radius dedicated exclusively to treating individuals who have experienced a disabling injury or illness such as stroke, major multiple trauma, brain injury, amputation, and spinal cord injury. Patients at this facility are not only healing, but in many cases they are re-learning how to live independently.

We have a bright future in store as we continue to expand the scope of therapies and services offered at this facility. With community support, we are hoping to implement new technologies, like a robotic exoskeleton that promotes early mobility, posture, and balance-awareness as patients re-learn how to walk. Community support plays an essential role in the quality and range of care that we can provide for our patients.
