Foundation FAQs

What does it mean to be nonprofit?

While for-profit organizations distribute surplus revenues to shareholders or owners, nonprofit organizations invest these earnings back into their organizations to further achieve their purpose or goal. As a nonprofit hospital, Arroyo Grande Community Hospital reinvests profits back into the hospital and in the community. This way, the money raised in our community stays in our community.
