Employee Giving

Arroyo Grande Community Hospital (AGCH) employees are fortunate to work in a tight-knit community - a circle of friends who truly care for each other. Through employee giving, employees are empowered to contribute to their non-profit hospital’s vision of delivering the highest quality, compassionate, affordable care.

Since the program began in 2007, AGCH employees have given over $1 million!

Stephanie Hughey, RN, Emergency Department Assistant Nurse Manager and Hour of Power contributor said, “I view the hospital as my home away from home, and I want to help take care of my coworkers and neighbors to make sure we have the best equipment and best facility. I started my AGCH career in the Emergency Department in 2004, and it’s been incredible to see how donations have improved the facility as a whole. It benefits everyone - employees and the community! I love how easy it is to give through the Hour of Power! It’s just taken out little by little from my paycheck, I don’t miss it at all, and it’s so nice to be able to see the results.”

While there are many ways to give, employees who choose to join the Hour of Power and contribute one hour of their pay each pay period will be placed into a special monthly drawing for a reserved, front row parking spot in the employee lot.

No matter how - or how much - you choose to give, your support demonstrates a commitment to the future of Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, the wellbeing of our community and Humankindness.
