MRI Scanner

Imaging Technology

Diagnostic imaging services are under increasing demand from all areas of the hospital. The Emergency Department and Acute Rehabilitation Center are especially reliant on imaging technology, and as each of these departments are often filled to capacity, the high volume of patients requiring the use of these machines makes it critical for the hospital to upgrade and expand its current imaging program.

The new MRI Scanner will provide:

•Greater image resolution and expanded clinical diagnostic capabilities.
•Increased comfort and convenient access for patients.
•Comprehensive diagnostic support for expanding hospital programs, such as neuroscience, orthopedics, and rehabilitation services.
•State-of-the-art diagnostic imaging, close to home.

Additional imaging equipment including a CT scanner, Bone Density (DEXA) scanner, Ultrasound, and X-ray machine will provide:

•A more comprehensive imaging program for the hospital
•The ability for patients to receive a full range of treatment in one place
•An improved patient experience from diagnosis throughout recovery
