The Hoelle Tompkins Sisterhood Society and the Carrol Pruett Philanthropic Fraternity are philanthropic giving societies that meet several times per year (via Zoom when necessary) to socialize and learn directly from doctors and leadership about hospital programs, services, and funding needs to support those programs. At the end of each year, members vote to select a project to support with their annual $1,000 membership gift. The winning project, which receives 100% of the funds, is announced at a final year-end celebration.

A few of the projects the groups have learned about include:

  • Emergency Department Enhancements
  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Cancer Care Services
  • Recreational Therapy Garden
  • Lung Cancer Screening Program
  • Emergency Support Fund & COVID-19 Response
  •  Behavioral Health Evaluation Team
  • Operating Room Power Equipment

Members of both giving societies have a strong voice in selecting improvements that are made at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital to benefit the community for years to come. We hope you'll consider joining the Hoelle Tompkins Sisterhood Society or the Carrol Pruett Philanthropic Fraternity. For more information, please contact us.
