Acute Rehabilitation Center Patient Assistance Fund

Patients at the Acute Rehabilitation Center receive specialized therapies to recover from serious illnesses or injuries such as stroke, brain injury, amputation, spinal cord injury, orthopedic dysfunction, major multiple trauma, or degenerative neurological disorders. Patients make significant progress during their stay at the Acute Rehabilitation Center with the ultimate goal of being able to return home safely after they have completed their rehab stay. However, the rehabilitation process is not over for patients after they return home, as most require continued outpatient rehabilitation.

The Patient Assistance Fund is designed to help acute rehabilitation patients with some of the unexpected costs they are faced with after they return home, many of which are not covered by insurance. These costs can include a wide range of needs such as an in-home caregiver, medical equipment, and more. The Patient Assistance Fund will help relieve some of the burden for patients and their families at a difficult time in their lives.
